The Board of the Valenova Foundation is made up of 5 local people who care about this community and have donated their time to manage the finances and work done by the foundation. They started this work motivated by wanting to:
- Alleviate poverty in families by providing access to education and breaking down barriers
- Provide health education to parents and students
- Enhance how agriculture is done and sustained
- Meet critical needs as they happen
The board of Valenova is made up of local people who understand the needs and barriers that face members of their community and know how to address them. The make-up of the board is a strong step to community self-reliance
