Margaret and Eugene Schellenberg, Birmingham, UK (R.I.P.) are truly the parents of Valenova Foundation. They have been active in helping the people of Ifakara for many years through an organization called the Ifakara Bakery Project from UK, which was started in 2001.
They took an active interest in our works from the beginning and were the first donors to support our projects. Over the years, they have helped on many projects and have significantly made a difference to the lives of the people in need in Ifakara. In 2021, due to illness and advanced years, our dear friend Eugene Schellenberg, passed away.
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge his passing and send condolences to Margaret who is also not well. They will always be remembered with love and gratitude by the Lihami villagers and the Valenova Foundation members.
